Twelfth, April 18th: LAST Book Discussion!
- Day of our final book selection!! We read Egghead by Bo Burnham, Water For Elephants by Sara Gruen, and In Order to Live by Yeon-Mi Park
- You all selected amazingly wonderful books, and I truly hope you were able to find some incredible stories to read from our list... Thank you, readers!!!!
Eleventh, March 21st: The Great Gadsby
- Read a single passage "Gadsby" by Ernest Vincent Wright... a novel of more than 50,000 words without the letter E!!! Get the full text here
- Participated in an activity where we had to write short three-sentence stories without using the letter E, and those that succeeded got prizes and candy!!
Tenth, March 7th: Third Book Discussion!
- Discussed Forgive Me, Leonard Peacock by Matthew Quick, Ready Player One by Ernest Cline, and The Glass Castle by Jeannette Walls... now Find Book #4 and READ!! :)
Ninth, February 7th: Black History Month Tribute

- Went through critical reading strategies to read more effectively and hone your English skills!! here
- Gave two practice passages from the LSAT and the first people to get both answers correct got prizes
- Talked about the upcoming Valentine's Day Book Drive

- Discussed Nine Princes in Amber by Roger Zelazny, Throne of Glass by Sarah J. Maas, and In the Lake of the Woods by Tim O'Brien... keep up the reading!!! Find Book #3
Sixth, December 6th: First Book Discussion!
- Discussed The Martian by Andy Weir, A Court of Thorns and Roses by Sarah J. Maas, and Fangirl by Rainbow Rowell... Congratulations, readers!!! Find Book #2
Fifth, November 15th: Stickers and Sales
- Made plans for Cookbook fundraiser to be sold in May, and to be created near the start of the new semester! Money raised will go towards shirts/tote bags for Book Club Members
- Handed out exclusively-made stickers for those who contributed ideas for events!!
Fourth, November 8th: Woot Woot, Kahoot!
Third, October 25th: Book Selection Day
- Everybody pitched wonderful ideas for books this day!!
- INFO: We will make sure that you read books that you are passionate about and that you are surrounded by people who share that same passion. And so, we will be breaking into smaller groups to ensure you get your top choices!
